Ice Hockey - Banana Gesture: 13 Games Lock for Ukrainian Professional
Ice hockey player Andrei Denyskin has been locked after a racist gesture in his home Ukraine for 13 games. The striker of the Club HK Kremschuk had insulted the black American Jalen Smereck from HC Donbass on the ice.
In the second third of the game between the two teams, Denyskin had first called something in the direction of his counterpart. Then he did as if he were peeling a banana and then eating. The referees sent the 23-year-old from the ice.
